It's OT but this is my new daily driver. It's a '67 Olds Vista Cruiser. I've owned them before and always wanted another. It has the 330 and Turbo 400. It's a California black plate car so no rust. All it needs is a pair of good tail light lenses. These are pretty faded. Should be a fun ride.

Yeah, Olds Vistas are some of the coolest wagons EVER. Between a 67 and a 72 i wouldnt know which one to choose.

The Mobsteel folks had this awesome '56 Century wagon at Frankenmuth this weekend to show off their new large-diameter steel wheels. I'd probably want 15s on mine, but I thought the stance and everything was very cool.

The big steelies would be neat on a late-model Charger or 300C.

Dont think i see those on anything really. Just my personal taste.
Maybe on a minitruck, but i see it as a stretch too.

Uhhh...no. I don't see them on anything other than a farm wagon. I don't see any size wheels over 16" looking good on any of this old iron. Just my opinion.

If you guys re-read my post, I do not advocate large wheels on “old iron”. I mentioned the Charger and the 300C because they already have large-diameter, modern wheels. I happen to like the steel-wheel look and have often wondered how that might be accomplished on a modern car if I had to own one.

The ‘56, as I said, would look a lot better with 15s, but I think they nailed the stance and did good by not messing with it otherwise.

My buddy Dave has been working on this wagon for a little while now . He just got the paint done and when I showed him this post he wanted me to share some pictures of his wagon .

It's a 1964 Dodge Dart wagon , which apparently only a few thousand made originally .

I just found out the wife and I are having twins. That puts us at four kids. A nine passenger long roof is starting to look real good about now.
