From what I could find somewhere in the LA area, all the scenes for "Clambake" with the main actors were shot in California, the action shots were shot around Miami, FL with doubles.

This looks like Kurt Russell playing Elvis.Kurt made a movie of Elvis but I can't remember the name of it right now.kurt got his start in acting as the kid that Elvis pays to kick him in the shins so he can hit on the nurse at the first aid station at the fair in It Happened at the Worlds Fair.

Here's Kurt kicking Elvis in the shin in the 1963 movie It Happened At The World's Fair, it's hard to imagine he'd grown enough to play Elvis in 67.

  14. Friend of mine had a "Run-No" similar to this in the mid 60's. It had an electric clutch in it that we could NOT figure out how to adjust. Flick the switch and it was fully engaged. Rev it up and BAM. Nearly pulled the front wheels off the ground.

needless to say it didn't last long.

While Kurt bears a striking resemblance I think this is Elvis.... Here's a closer look.
