I've seen 13 of them in the last 20 minutes, most seemed traditional. No other rods ... just Dueces ???!!!???
Not sure whom "KIRK" is ... what's he drive, saw about 4 more Dueces after I posted the thread, later I did see some none Duece rods.
I think it's a 80th anniversary for 1932 Fords thing......all the California 32's are heading back to the states they originally came from.
From what I read this weekend Andy (Rodfather) says it's supposed to be his last long road trip. Sounds like a fun trip to be on.
I thought that too on the first long roadtrip I did back in '97 , Americruise from SoCal to Aspen CO. Then I figured that not only do they leave at different times in the AM , but the cars get different gas mileages , and the restroom and lunch stops vary . I've been on a few of these and it seems that throughout the day you pick up a few , and p*** a few , but at the end of the day everyone stops at the same place .
saw the group in Madison last night. The famous Kirk! was there too!!!!! Andy is 80. from what I heard last night, some of these guys have the "need for speed", so it would be tough to stay together. a couple of the fellas got hooked for $700 fines. 90 in a 65.
Kirk, say HI to Deuce guy for me.He's driving his RPU out of Madison,Wi. on the tour. Tell him we're following along on his blog. Glenn
Everyone in their line of travel should make it out and check them out...Some very kool rods and great people. On there way to the GG's Indie show.
Saw them all on Monday night in Ankeny. I am part of the I.S.R.A. and we fed them dinner and got to check all the cars out.
