Thanks again for the priceless info! I will prolly run the 35's then. Looked all over the web and u answered in like 20 mins! Can I mount my rear coil overs to that sway bar mount area??

If I were going to run coilovers??? I'd prolly buy the Pete & Jake kit. It comes with dim's. for install on the Model A frame.

Time for some mock up...

 

lowered body onto frame...

 

channeled portion was bent medially so I straightened it with a hammer and dolly...

 

same thing on the passenger side...

 

finger got sliced on a sharp edge...

 

trying to get an idea of what it will look like... Engine will sit 4-5" lower

 

channeled body fits nicely on the A frame, and engine will sit further back

 

drivers side and passenger side...

 

rear window opening is 11" in height... I think I will chop the sides and front to match... Roughly a 7" chop so all windows are of equal proportion. If memory serves me correctly the side openings are around 18" or so

 

The rear window opening is also in decent shape...

 

so roughly a 7" chop to match the rear window??

 

will replace the 4" header with some 1" tubing per Chadillac's recommendation to increase visibility...

This picture shows that the stock A frame is about 10" or so too short for my build...

 

I will cannibalize the ass end of the old frame to get the length and step up required...

 

Just in case you may have missed this??? This rear axle setup would work great with your frame and rear axle assembly

Lol... Been very busy! Finished a factory custom, and a ground up custom is at my paint shop! You can check the ground up on the website under "Tha Crowlimite Special." Getting kinda sick of bikes and wanted to work on the Chumster again. So here I am boys!

 

This was a stock Hammer S that I customized the bejesus outta! lol

 

Lotta custom work... Need to sell her to fund some other projects...




Bike is a fuckin' beast... Fast, Torquey, and powerful!

 

If you look up a stock Hammer-S you'll realize how special this is!

I believe that should cover my time in purgatory! lol...
