"Mauretania's trials of 1907 recorded shaft revolutions of between 123 per minute at 18.32 knots and 192 per minute at 26.17 knots with no indication that the speeds varied from shaft to shaft. However even at the trials stage Cunard and Swan Hunter & Wigham Richardson found that they were having vibration problems with Mauretania's 3 bladed propellers. These were later replaced with 4 bladed propellers.
'Mauretania' damaged an outboard propeller by striking a submerged object in February 1909. She was drydocked for repair and the opportunity was taken to fit four bladed 'sabre' type propellers on both outboard shafts. Calculations had suggested that these propellers would increase efficiency. This duly proved to be the case and the inboard propellers were replaced at her next drydocking."

  2. When I went to save this photo it say's Bell not Harding... that is Harding but didn't Ford hang with Bell shortly before he passed?

Jimi flipped the strings, but not the pickups. It was surf guitar legend Dick Dale who played a right handed Strat left handed with the strings upside down. He still does! :)

I gotta wonder what's with the Supercharged trim there. Added for the serial? Graham didn't build any woody wagons, did they? What make and year are we seeing here?
