I got this 62 from a buddy of mine. He was burned out on the build and I had a 71 K20 I seldom drove ... so after ages of talking about it, we traded =)

I think I drove it once several years ago, at least my buddy said I did, I just dont remember it.

I posted a pic of it over in the photoshop area and mrjynx was kind enough to do a version that sounded good to me. A mild early 60s look.





So this was all before I took possession of the truck. It has very healthy 60 over 350 (sorry Ford diehard guys). It is really a hot rod truck, loud and fast ... not a mild 60s custom.

I may have to rethink the style I want to go.

here is some new ones on mine. swapped out to bucket seats. made a hudge dif. i have close to 3000 trouble free miles. it will get seats recoverd, headliner kit, radio and poss. a/c to make the queen happy this winter.

Flew in and collected the truck a couple of weeks ago & took a week to road test it for 700 miles till I got home. A few minor issues to sort & then onto some soundproofing & upholstery, and maybe in 12 moths time it can get some shiny paint on it.

Here's a recent pic of my project. 1935 International Pickup on a '27T Speedway Frame. 4" chop, suicide doors, powered by a 305 chevy. Weighs in at 2000 lbs.
