I am happy to report that the Kukura/Lindsley 32 is back in California, is running great, and is in appreciative hands. I bought it a few months ago from Norm Arbour (NJ) through his friend/broker Tom Laferriere in Rhode Island. It arrived in great shape, and after some minor work to the brakes and blower, it starts with a great bark from the side exhaust and rumbles nicely. It will not be restored, changed, or screwed up in any way. But it will be driven, not hidden away. It came with five of its early trophies and its first timing tag, and a nice handwritten history. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who acquired any of the other tags, etc., from the car, as I would like to reunite them. I will post some photos later if someone can tell me how to do that. It's a great car with a great story, and I am very aware of how lucky I am to have it.
NOTE: it's not the Lindsley/Michele car with twin engines. It ran flatheads until the hemi with pushbutton transmission in 56 or 57. It's fastest official run was 183+ in 1957, but there is a home movie of it running 200 and then spinning (but not rolling) in 58.

Great story. Congrats on getting the car. I would say welcome to the HAMB, but I see you've been here a while, just awful quiet. Welcome anyway.

That is definitely not the car. I've seen the car that Bruce's friend bought and it's a Deuce, not a T or an A.
