OK here's a small update. The doors are in DP90 and some more new skin showed up. I had to replace my computer and lost all of my old pics of the door progress.

Sugar City is where Unicorns, and Pat Swayze still lives on forever. Swayze is eternally remembered as Bohdi from Point in that magical place. Top that! Looks like a great project! Love it!
As another side note, my uncle who sold deuce roadster his 32 coupe, is currently building this '33 three window. CustomCory worked on it as well.
Kills me to see people let a car sit and rot like that. What in the world are they thinking. Lot of work but she'll make a nice ride when finished. Keep at it and she'll be done before you know it!!!! The pictures of all the new metal laid out on the driveway remind me of model car parts!!! Same thing i guess, just on a different scale, pun intended!!!
Swayze as Dalton in Roadhouse is the bad*** that could build a car like this one though. Bodhi might be a little too distracted by the waves to pull off a car like this...

Been waiting nearly all summer for these babies to arrive because of back order.And Not in any rush to have them, but they were a Great deal while they were on sale. Dad's inspection p***ed for approval. Bob Drakes vulcanized boards are really nice, just like Henry intended.
Big undertaking, eh? My 34 five window was an old stock car racer and I had to replace everything but the top also. I used Steve's Restorations parts. Nice stuff but quarters were for roadsters...had to shorten them at the door jamb. Steve's subrails were spot-on. Been working on mine since '07.
yea it is kind of a big undertaking, but we dont worry cause its in the hands of one of the best metal craftsman out there.customcory will make it look good and he does it right.(****-welding,etc.)he has an eye for the way things are "suppose to look" cause he is a true hot rodder,not just some other body shop. the 3 window that my uncles building (pic in earlier posts), had to have all of the same things done to it. (it was a tube ch***is/pro street car from the 80s), and cory did a good job on it.
Original regulators and latches dis***embled, blasted & cleaned up, greased gears, sun cooked and ready for storage with the finished doors. Old ch***is finally gets to take a load off. You just rest there old girl. Body shots before blasting. DIY Blasting tent. Gotta go over the air compressor to make sure it can run all weekend. I appologize in advance to my neighbors.

I'm glad to see you are blasting it. I can never figure out why guys make repairs on old rusty metal and then finish it later. Seems like it would be easier to work on clean metal and produce better results. Project looks good. A lot of work. I have had to do some of it on my project as well. Time consuming to say the least.Looks like you got some good replacement parts there. Good luck. I am enjoying your updates.
My Victoria has the same amount of rust out, in the same places, they could be cousins. I just remembered that the car came from NC, more than 30 years ago.
Your basic body shell looks nice and straight. A new floor, subrails and some lower panels and you will have this body looking like new!
