Did you have any problem with the 390 clearing the steering gear box? Mine will not fit past it but I think I see why now. It's not the same as yours. I had to build mounts to raise the engine 2".

I used polishing compound and a cotton cloth. It comes in a green container, make sure its the polishing compound and not the paint compound. You have to put alot of elbow grease into it!

What if you get lazy and use a cotton buffing wheel in a drill motor?

Well; went after the Granada spindles with the disc brakes. That was the only thing gone from the car. Guy said he had a standing order from some Mustang guy for all the Granada, Versailles and Monarch set-ups they got in. What a pisser. Still looking.

Im back around and have had some progress on the merc! Med school took priority but im back in the game. Will get some pics up soon. Since i last posted I finally got my 2008 charger seats installed, front and rear bench. wired up the drivers seat, nothing like a power seat in the 56!

Also going to trim the spring pocket up front this weekend. My question is can I plate the lower control arm and mount the bag right to the plate or should I use a lower cup mount?
