putting a 302 HO fuel injected in my brothers 64 tbird. Anybody do this swap? used welder series motor mount kit super nice stuff. Running into a clearence issue with the stock shorty headers on the drivers side against the steer gear. Anybody run into this?
Haven't done that swap but 5.0 Mustangs/Fox chassis cars have a front mount R&P so there is only a long steering shaft there hence the headers have lots of room in their stock application. You might want to look at shorties designed for vintage Mustangs that have steering box there too.
