i have a 1952 2dr morris minor for sale right now for $700 OBO i bought my 28 model a coupe body for under $1000
You can buy the Rambler or Stude pickup for around $750; the Willys sold for $750; the Pontiac is $1200; and the Jeepster I paid $500 for not running, got it running, and traded it for a Model A pickup.
Well, if we're going that far, then yeah, there's a lot of late model stuff out there for under $1000.
well I've been buying and selling parts for some time now for my AV8 project, so I got spare parts. To get this one from just wheels, engine and front axle was only $250 http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/ad193/fendtelecustom/Hot Rod/IMG_1488.jpg
I don't know what your problem is,,but just a heads up read Ryans recent post. HRP → A reminder... A refocus... PLEASE READ ← <hr style="color:#e5e5e5; background-color:#e5e5e5" size="1"> I used to do this every year, but haven't for the past two. And I think it's time to remind folks that this is a traditional hot rod and custom forum. It's time to refocus and remember that. What does that mean, exactly? I've tried for years to put it into proper words and can't. Some of you know what I am getting at. Others probably don't. Sometimes it's as hard to define cars as it is people, ya know? Anyway, as moderators we are gonna start tightening the reigns a bit. Please don't be offended if your off topic vehicle gets deleted. It's not a personal thing at all, it's an editorial one. The Jalopy Journal is dedicated to spreading the gospel of 1965 and below traditional hot rods and customs. Please remember that. __________________ Ryan Cochran
$500 with a $1000 dollar paintjob. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=717991 It was complete other than carpet, an aircleaner, radiator, and horn button.
I bought the Valiant in my avatar, pics wont load tonight for some reason, for $800 running and driving less than a year ago. Had a fresh tune up, brakes and tires. I know its not a popular car but it gets great mileage and fits the family.
I got my 62 for a grand last year. The body is real straight and only rust is just a bit of surface rust. The body is real solid and she actually drove herself on to the trailor under her own power, obtw the half carrige top is gone.
This was about 5 years ago, but I paid $500 for it as a roller, bought a donor monte carlo for $700, used every thing I could, and sold the remains of the monte for $200. With the primer , flames, seatcovers and misc. it was on the road for less than $1500. Oh, and some of you may notice that it's a four door..... This one was less than a year ago. $1000 and I drove it on the trailer. I only paid that much because it is a fairly rare fleet option GMC.
