That wasn't my plan but I'm glad you feel that way. I shot those two in several different settings, so I had a lot to work with. With 2000 images in the can, it takes a while to examine them closely enough to find the good ones among the mediocre.

I spent an hour on the T because I had to take out a distracting background. I'll post more of it. My biggest mistake with it is that I shot it mostly with the extreme wide angle and only now do I realize that. It worked well on the B & W one, but I should have shot it long in addition.

Don't know how the hell you go from 5 stars to 4, maybe somebody doesn't like a few of the latest cars? Hope my vote takes you back to 5.:) Superb coverage.

What's the story on this one? Not exactly my cup of tea, but it's so well done and proportional... New build or restoration/recreation?

    Beautiful photos.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw it. The craftsmanship is Rodder's Journal quality level. I imagine it will be a feature.

The major work was done and finished in the '70's and driven and shown then, although I never saw it (He's from the Midwest, as I was then). The owner is a young guy and it had been in his family since he was little. He re-visioned it and re-proportioned it here and there. Apparently radical changes with subtlety, like an inch or two here and there, just massaged it. I have more shots of it I can use, I shot a lot.

The show was a photog's paradise because there were four major activities/venues outside of the actual showgrounds in which 100-200 of the better cars participated before the show actually started on Saturday. Each of those was a very different background and different lighting. This particular car looks like a total show car, but there he was driving it to each event (along with twenty other iconic rides you wouldn't expect to see cruising).

Keep in mind that two of these venues were smack dab in the middle of Baltimore's vast waterfront entertainment district in which there simply was not a parking space to be found. Imagine the effort that Steve and Curt went to at city hall to have the police reserve enough parking spaces for all the cars!

Thanks Tom for including a shot of my car. I know my '55 Dodge isn't in the same league as most of the cars at the event, but you are the ONLY one who took a shot of it. thanks again.

I'm not a Mopar man but that is one fine lookin' '55 Dodge and one of the better tri-colour arrangements IMO .
