Shot a little video of some friends and our Hot Rods at the 2012 Hollywood Throttlers Hot Rod Picnic. Got some pretty good stuff that I think will be fun to watch.

Here's a shot from my small hometown Uddevalla on the Swedish westcoast from last year. There are a couple of roadsters missing, including my own. Cars are all from nearby.

It's my friend Jonas Spitfire engined roadster. The engine is a '53 De Soto flathead six, bored to 260" and equipped with a milled "Spitfire" head and a triple carb setup. So really not a period correct 1940's hot rod.

Were pretty lucky out here, seems pretty easy to get a group of four or five together to drive their hot rods around aimlessly. You could always consider moving to SoCal

 

I love A's that stray from using the normal run of the mill powerplants that you usually see..Thanks for posting!
