The return of the ATLANTA $10,000 (Drags) - October 13th, 2012

There was lots of talk about the Atlanta 10,000 down at the Old Drag Racers Reunion in Panama City, FL this past weekend. Several folks said they were going to try to make it. Looking forward to the event.

maybe a dumb question, can you back up to the fence and watch the race from your vehicle at that track, kinda like bowling green.me and a buddy are going ,but we both have leg and foot issues.

* The gates open Saturday at 7:30 a.m. *

* Tech Inspection is from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. *

* Time Trials & Qualifying start at 9:00 a.m. *

* Round One starts at 2:00 p.m. *

If someone participates in test & tune on Friday night or just goes through Tech on Friday night, they do not have to go through Tech again on Saturday.

If you come in on Friday, you can pay for Saturday also and not have to wait in line on Saturday.

If you park overnight on Friday, you will have to pay for Saturday at that time.

You guys are going to have a packed house for this race, we helped pass the word out at our Paradise Drag Strip "Show & Go" nostalgia drag meet this weekend, and the place was packed out with nostalgia cars, a lot of folks are going, just pray for good weather. We plan on pulling in tomorrow night with 2 cars. Tony Davis did a banner for us. It might be too nice to hang on a fence where somebody might appropriate it though.
