Hot Rod Rake:

How about some pics of cars and trucks with "Hot Rod Rake". Big and little tire combos, tweaked suspension or whatever it takes to get the right look.

 

about 75% of the pictures in this forum are traditionally raked hot rods....

Shit I was gettin excited for a minute. If you only saw how many leaves are in my yard right now...

 

I have always loved the radical, menacing look of a steeply raked rod with an exposed engine. So, when it came time to build my dream rod...

 

Front: 2" dropped spindles
2" lower springs
185/65R-15 tires

Rear: 4" lower springs
P255/70R-15 tires

 

Yuppers, in just about every rod trot/ car show thread and in most of the look what I'm building threads. The site is full of them.

 

My old coupe had a nice rake....

 

That car is perfect in so many ways!!

My Deuce pickup has a slight rake,,HRP

 

Yeah, I'd say that was a slight rake!

 

With out a rake most Customized Rods do not
fill up the wheel opening.

Same here! I wanted to see this Hot Rod Rake thought it might save me some time with my leaves as well.
