I could help take stuff off one day if you want. I guess you'll try to save mechanical and interior? Glad the guy is okay. Pm if help is wanted. I live in Willis about 20 miles or so.

  10. Bill, I have some property in outside Anderson where I keep parts cars/future projects. When your done picking parts if theres still stuff usefull, but you done have the need or time, we can throw it out there. I'm going to be around the area the next couple weeks.

I'm south of the MED center in Houston. I don't have space, but I'll ask around. Sorry to see what looked like a nice truck.

A friend from another forum has found me some free indoor space to use during the dismantling process. After the insurance company is done, we will strip off the useful bits and pieces (including the 347 Pontiac V8 with Dual Range Hydra-Matic) and offer them to the old car/truck community at reasonable prices. Not trying to make big bucks, but in the 22 years I've been daily driving this truck I've come to realize how hard it can be to find certain pieces. No sense letting the hard to find bits be turned into tin cans and computer cases by the recyclers.

Thanks again for the offers of space to do the job and moral support.

Glad you came out OK..... sorry to hear about the five clean shirts.

Foam... I wish more fire departments had that (water isn't much help in many situations).
