Is there anyone near Kokomo, Indiana that could check on a car for me?
    Thanks, Dave

There's probablly not a whole lot of it left beneathe the soil level, unless your soil is much more forgiving than Oklahoma Red clay

Those Dodges are tough, and strange, I pulled a 26 like that out of the dirt, the top was rusted out badly, but everything that was underground was pristine!

You should do an archaeology thread on it! :D

While living in central Illinois I got some leads on a very nice Model T Ford for sale behind a barn. After chasing more leads till I found it the T looked almost as good as those photos in post 4980.

My guess will be Olds or Poncho, 38 or 39. Just a guess, though.

Maybe I'll do that next spring. Winter is staring me in the face right now.

It looks like a scene from a 50s version of the walking dead, like and abandoned overgrown highway. I love it!

    Nice photo.

Not Pontiac. (Split rear window). '38 Olds looks good to me.

... Here’s a 50 Lincoln I saved from a Junk Yard where everything was being crushed. These guys that scrap couldn’t care less what gets pressed; in fact you have to pay more then scrap price because you’re breaking their stride! I couldn’t believe they had the Title for it.

Thats awesome that you saved it! What are your plans for it? Is the car saveable? How much rust does it have? Looks to be very complete. Jim
