dodge hemi

    Hi!

    I search the "tightening torque" (I'm not sure it's the good word!) for a dodge early hemi (270ci 1954)

    for the connecting rods, crankshaft bearing and the cylinder heads etc etc...

    Somebody have this information for me????

  2. Come on Hemi guys, don't make me drag a note book out to give schoum the torque specs for his hemi. Any or all of the hundreds of hemi owners/builders on the board should have those numbers right on top of the pile.

    but can you tell me what is your exact torque unit mesurment please? it's the lbf/feet??

    In France we use the "newton/metre", so I must do the conversion....
     
  5. Yes it would be pound feet or the common vernacular is foot pounds.

    Here is a link to some calculators or here is the conversion:

    1 pound force foot = 1.35581795 newtons meter
