Awesome! Looks good. I think a modest amount taken out looks terrific on that car.

I'm going to start paying attention, now that you've mentioned it. I don't have time (at the moment) to look back but now you've got me thinking.

However, what I do have time for is posting a few pics I stole from the UK Hot Rod Hill Climbing thread. Perfectly fitting for this thread, no?

I'm not sure if I've ever posted these, forgive me if I have. I've been going through my Dropbox account.

I just looked through the whole thread to see if I posted duplicates... now I'm more charged up than ever! Man, we've collected some fine chopped and leaned cars.

There's more out there, too. I've had this one tucked away because, while it's elegant looking, it's got some features I'd change (tires and lights, most notibly) but otherwise - it's really handsome. "It's not a tires and lights thread," I told myself.... hahaha. :D

I'm pretty sure this is the same car. I stole the pics off the HAMB, recently. Rather than keep them stowed away, I figured I'd post them up here. This car looks agressive. The builder has style, for sure.

I see my car has already shown up here a few times, but here is my Grandfather, Thor Sanden's '29 A-V8 roadster. Built in 1946, he bought it in 1950 or '51 had a 296 ci 59A Merc motor built for it with Edelbrock heads and a Schnell 4x2 intake with 4 97's. Later ran a 2x2 Navarro intake with 2 94's.

From what I can and scale out from the photos I have, it looks like a 2" to 4" chop and perhaps a 2" lean?

This little custom is a stunner. Love the chop and top on it.

The pic above is too large when linked-up full size. It's an awesome roadster though. I like that is chop but no lean, it gives a stout appearance.

This car completely inspires me to give a hardchop and lean to my touring car.

I built a little windshield lean into both of these cars. Nothing radical...just a few degrees. I think stock Ford w/shields are too straight up and down when stock.

Here are some pictures of my roadster, just got it going this fall. I started with 2" chopped stainless posts, and took another 1.5" out of them and then leaned them back 18 degrees from stock.
