The following is a short version of life as I want it to be. Life at Bonneville. Like no other..... The first pic L to R, Brian, Tom, Me, my 'ol lady Paige, my uncle Jimmy, Tayden "crew chief" , his dad Eric and the world famous Bob Wilson. This is a joint venture between some of the best people I have the priveledge of calling my "family". I love each and every one of these ****ers for their help to make my dream come true. This is the first year we had the car on the Salt. We ran a best of 170.781mph. We were thrilled to be there, and to run a decent time the First time out with a new car and crew. New plans are already in motion for 2013. To those who haven't been to Bonneville, you REALLY need to make the journey. I have plenty of beer if you show up.... </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> Also special thanks to Jerry "Big Hoove" Hoover, he practically slept in the shop to get the car ready. Without him the car wouldn't have made it.
Glad to hear you had the chance to run and have some fun. Nice first outing - here's to next year and the 200 club. Lawrence
I meant to add congrats on a successful meet. No broken parts always makes for a good meet. But you sure picked a tough row to hoe!! The best of luck for the future.
Very respectable for your first trip to the salt. And with a street roadster yet! You are correct. Every car guy needs to be on the salt at least once. I've been 12 times in my life. Each trip was special. You never forget the sunrise over floating mountain. Pretty soon you'll be counting the days 'till you go back. It's a sickness, but a good one!
Cant WAIT untill next year so i can do my bailout!!!! I think i could have gone 176mph if i could see over the steering wheel.
