Its been there at least 3 years. You can see the tarp has weathered away and the bushes have grown around it.

    wow!

  5. Believe it or not, I was thinking that it may have been from Belgium. I've seen posts of individual cars from it and this photo reminded me of those cars.

  6. Yes i visited it some 15 times between 1992 and 2007.
The owner died in 2008 and unfortunately it had to disappear with a 250 euro per car claim if it stayed. and there were some 300 to 400 cars located on three spots in a one mile circle so the owner's son sadly had to scrap them.

... "A 250 Euro per Car claim"; there it is, another example of a heartless government regulation; at the least they could have been a little forgiving to a few of the more desirable Models; is the Government starting to pickup the Crippled, Gypsies and Jews yet?

Found this out in the oil field today. Called the owner and I'm going to save it tomorrow.

LOL How true! I was trying to think of the last time I saw a car that old around here that wasn't in a car show.

    It's been awhile....

  14. A '52 model, just like me, though that one appears to be in better shape than I am.

Yea it's straight as hell. Every piece is there. Guy told me its probably been there for 30 years. Floors are shot from the tree that's grown through, but that's easy. It's bone stock down to the 216 and glide. Even the bumpers look great

I took a side road on the way to work the other day to avoid a traffic jam and saw this. Looks like it had been sitting a long time before this scrap metal place got it. The tailgate trim was still intact.

This is the car from post #4646
I got it home today, I guess it goes into the saved column, there is plenty of areas that are jacked up on this car but the floors and the whole lower body is in great shape. It sat on some tractor tires for probably 45 or 50 years.

Was told about some cars today, so went and had a look, I was pretty suprized by what I found, they were goingto the crusher, traded an old snap-on tool box for several of them, got the henery j, 3 rivs, and the 51? buick HT, may go back and get the chev convert tomorrow. Here are some pics, several more cars I didnt get pics of, there are a bunch of old tractors also. Jim
