Man, Glenn has the most comfortable hot rod I have ever been in. I got to try it on at The Copper Rocket in Orlando for The Rumbler's Ground Hog Day show in 2001 if I'm not mistaken. I'm 6'2 and it fit like a glove, that is one well engineered car inside and out.

I didn't go through all 800+ posts on this so maybe this is in an earlier post. For those looking at the numbers now this isn't the original board. That's why you'll not find any join dates earlier than Mar 01, that's when this version was started

Yep it was covered a couple times. I think this is the 3rd board, and there was the email list.

Your biography says you are 27 years old.

  20. Well, it's too bad that old guys like 60's Style, Butt Reynolds, Brush, Foiled Again, Billetproof Dude and Germ are all gone...

  21. I'm sure I posted before. I lurked for several months before I first posted in 1998 after the RRT flame war as 48_Hemi #90 then as 48HEMI then OldCarGlassGuy then 48HEMI again then NONAME #11646.
in the start there was a status thing going on. now everyone is rated by numbers

i was going back through this today and had missed this earlier. i think that the sam/bend in the road episode might have been the year that denise got caught doing donuts in the salt by the scta folks and got her hiney chewed. perhaps that was the year that several of us were watching gene winfield swap motors in his T. we weren't bothering him or even talking to him, but talking with his sweetie. after a while he walked past us into his motor home and came out a few seconds later and handed denise a book. she opened it up and LO & BEHOLD it was his personal photo album full of pix of all of those famous cars he built waaaaaay back when. priceless. that album couldn't be duplicated for a gazillion bux. i guess he for some reason decided that we deserved a glimpse of history.

and bones; wonder where he is???

I'm still here, just got back from Austin. Lot's of folks asked about me but nobody wanted to take me show me some new faces and sights. It's hell to get old and have everyone forget about you. Damn, I'm feeling sorry for myself latley, life aint' very exciting any more.

Don't despair. Life is still pretty darn good compared to the other options.
You are not getting old. You are maturing to a higher level.

  29. ........ and some of them are still here under another name.:)
