Is that Bo Hopkins behind the wheel? I'm not sure, but it sorta looks like him. Several years prior to American Graffiti, if so.

 

not sure and the pic source didn't indicate. But now that you mention it, it does resemble him - pre-Pharoahs. . .

 

Looks like a flathead Ford. Truck looks like 46-48? Has a crossover pipe so is a V8. He has 4 drills. Looks like con rod nuts on the ground. I wish him luck but it looks terminal.

 

^^^^^You have to love paraffin based oils.....bet you could stand a screwdriver up in the oil pan.^^^

 

Maybe a young Stuart Whitman?

 

Aside from the drill motors and oil pump it sure is a mess of stuff that doesn't have anything to do with the task at hand. What were the drills doing there anyway ? These pictures always leave me wondering how things turned out. I suspect this job was a failure.

Who's the doll with Tony Curtis?

 

That doesn't reduce the size of the picture it reduces the size of the entire page - An overly large picture like that will still gum up the works.

Interesting to find out that it got stuck in the snow. Duh, they didn't know about bald tires and ice!! It must have been a failure because know one ever heard about it again.
