Thanks Fellas, Getting this close is really a big deal for me, Even tho i was still working on race cars 17 years ago, I haven't owned a dragster or driven one for about 30 years, I can hardly wait to get back behind the wheel of one of these things, even tho my daugther Brandy tells me don't get too used to that seat kuz it's gonna be mine soon!! She got the bug early as you can see in the pics, Plus she has her own crew 4 boys and 1 girl now:D Thanks again Tim Jones

Thanks Robert , the only thing that slows me down is the lack of money:(, when that happens I make parts for the car untill I can buy the parts I can't build myself, No worries hear on what people think of it, although I can't think of any negitive comments about it ,A few comments on different ways to do somethings but those were guys concerned for my safety, not what I would take as a shitty coment, So all is well in bum f**k Iowa:D, buildt a overflo tank today still plumbing it in tonite, not really a thing of beauty , BUT I built it:eek:, I'll post some pics tomorrow, Tim Jones

Nothing real exciting, buildt a overflo tank, out of some rectangler Alum tubeing, had a nice round one made from the cut off extra sec of my fuel tank but blew a couple holes in it tiging up the seam:mad: Still trying to get the hang of this tiging Alum, Steel and stainless not to bad Alum VERY hit and miss , mostly miss:eek:, Man good thing all I have left to mount in the front frame rails is the battery, space is getting very limited up there,,, Tim Jones

Uh Tim please explain the operation of your overflow, looks like you are tied into your fill lines??

Looks like you need to tie the fill lines together and use a radiator cap with a vent on it, I have an extra alum 1 1/2" assy if you are interested.........

Hi Carl , The water fill tubes I used were for a 426 water block, on the hemi's we ran, the overflo tubes ran into the headers, I was remembering I needed a overflo tank now incase of a boilover so I ran the lines to a catch tank, I planned on only runing enough water to fill the block and heads, the small lines are above that point, do you not think this will work as I'm thinking:confused:? I have all winter to redisign it if need be:D, Tim Jones

Thanks carl, Before I have you send it out, I'll try mine, Right now I have the fuel lines off the car, replaceing the rubber lines I used to start the motor, putting hard lines on it, short one fitting tho so it might be a couple days before I can try it, Are you thinking the water will boil out too quick with my setup? Got a few things done this week Worked on the water overflo ,adapting the in line fill neck Carl sent out into my setup , Garret Day tiged the new lines to my water lines for me , then I drilled the holes out, and Because the inlets on the neck were smaller than my alum water lines ,I ground the sealing lip off the edge of the neck and pressed on two pieces of my alum tubeing too make up the differance in size, still need to pumb the overflo to the puke tank, came out pretty well, Tim Jones

With that setup Tim you ought to make a coolant cycle kit like I did for the water filled block, they work great between runs........... cut the cooling time down at least 1/2.........
