    Awesome thread!

When I was a kid in the early 90's I remember seeing Roadway Trucking trucks that always seemed to be tiny compared to the trailers they pulled. That and they had a hand truck on the front bumper half the time. Anyone have any pics of those Turks? I think they were fords. I hoe old enough to belong on here.

I have followed this thread off and on, some amazing work here for sure.

I picked one of these up in a package deal and have put it in the classifieds. I don't usually try to link stuff on threads for sale. But you guys are a very specific group and thought it was relevant.

If you guys are not to keen on it being in the thread let me know, Joe

Hey LN7 Nut, I just saw your wrecker on American Pickers, they used an image of it towing an early chevy roadster when they were describing a 34 roadster a guy had

I never got to see that episode, but I hear as usual they butchered all their "facts" on cars... was that the case? When they asked to use my photo they said the guys found a 28 Chev roadster... I kinda expected it to be anything but a 28 Chev roadster...

Here is the photo they used

The roadster is a 28 Chevrolet owned by a dear friend of mine, he treats it like it's my car, even willed it to me (which blew me away) I take the two of them to car shows a lot, the 28 is all original and well maintained, it's a great car to drive!

And here I am putting my 56 Merc COE away for the winter with the 36 GMC after the starter on the COE fried.

I just got a 53 1 ton for parts plus another cab, might go for an extended cab or crew cab at some point, right now I am working on the new chassis for it.

almost looks like the exact same one above-- with an extra mirror and single driving light -some different lettering and license plates and gots of road grime.

  24. Hi Scrapmetalman
My Web site covers more then just Australia , there are lots of guys in the US who visit and use my web site.
As far as I know there is only one 38/40 GMC COE in Oz and it is getting "restored"
So I will place them on the Repro Page and then anyone interested can contact you,

what is everyone using for a brake master & booster setup?
I'm thinking ill go with the under the floor board style.
