Got an easy one for you guys. I have this as a screensaver now but the cars in the background really bug me. I think this picture would be perfect without them. My rpu and my friends famous coupe. Classic. Thanks ahead of time. This was Bonneville this year. Good time for sure.

Your '53 Chieftan has some of the best trim of the period, so I let the chrome do the talking. Shave here and there, chop and drop.

Hi James.
Loving the scallops. Headlights are a nice touch too.
Would it be possible for you to put the original colours you did for it back in behind the scallops to see what it looks like. Also I dont know if you think a turquoise colour may go well against the black. I like the one above too so I want to blow them up and make my decision.
I think you have got it looking fantastic and I really appreciate the work you have put into it. When it gets finished I will send you some shots it.

not bad, does need some more white thrown in there, paint the roof. and some sombreros would also look good. let's make it as smooth as possible.

 

I just found this thread and I'm really enjoying what I see some of the talented people can do with Photoshop. I recently got Photoshop and have been doing some "Cartooning" but have a LOT to learn.

My photoshopping looks like ass, you guys got skills.

I'd like to see what my car would look like with shaved handles/Mercury emblems, a louvered hood and a cream color like this...

I don't have a clue on how to fake louvers on the hood, but here's a quick shave and paint.

see that sounds bad.... but the reason I ask, is not only are you very talented with PS, but you have an eye for what looks good... you can take all our pieces of crap, & make them look like show stoppers, even the turds that no self respecting car guy would get caught driving, you can pull the lines, add some color, & make them look "not so bad"

so do you work on cars, ??? what do you drive ??? it's alright if you don't want to share, & I can understand if you don't work on cars... it takes so much longer to bang it out in metal...

anyway thanks...... awesome PS guy, that seems to have a great eye for everyone elses rides...

If anybody else has any cool ideas for my car please feel free to photoshop it. The car will be under-going some body mods this winter.
