Well that sad idea and I have seen it here in Manitoba is that the car was stolen by a drug addict and halled to the crusher for a quick cash load for a hit. I dont want to sound negative but it happens.

Me too Joey...... I had a 5 window Deuce stolen in the mid 1970's in Long Beach, Ca... Never Found.... I still mourn it's loss at times like this....:mad::mad:

  6. BTTT, look for the wheels and tires or engine (Nicely detailed SBF), nicely done '32 chassis, or recently primered '32 Ford fiberglass body on your local Criagslist... Report back to this thread if you can make a connection.

The one in your link isnt chopped, but good detective work! The ad does say other parts available such as frame, fenders ect...

I also will be looking on craigslit for parts, as that is all i find myself doing lately!

I'm a Craigslist stalker and that's the only thing I've seen on this side of the coast at this time...How many inches is it chopped? I would go through the build thread but it's damn near 50 pages...

I printed this up and passed it out at cruise nights and car businesses in south west Florida. Every little bit helps, I hope. Copy, print and distribute.

Keep checking back for good news. I built my truck with my granddad and dad at my side, and hope to do the same with my kids in a few years. I would hate to have it disappear some night.

If it's not in Mexico already, it should turn up. I'm glad no details have been posted on the progress of the investigation, or what the police are looking at/following up on. I just hope to see another pic with Shelby getting her car back.

And again. This is just silly not to have something that obliviously is a concern to many people not made into something that sticks to the top. One would have to think some folks are more important than others.

  19. Can't believe that there hasn't been more progress on the location of this. How many of us watched this (build) thread so religiously?

Not that any stolen car is less disturbing than any other, but this really sucks to have watched this one be built from the ground up only to have met with this fate. I hope it ends better than most.

Pulled the key out of my 48 and locked the garage door before heading to work this morning. Guess its time to change my ways. Will probably start locking the house too.....wouldn't want them to steal my Beagle.

Like others I'm checking this thread hoping for good news. Hope some comes soon.
