I haven't posted in awhile and wanted to show some Customs. I took these photos at Paso Robles in 1984. These were exciting times because customs were just starting to make a comeback.....Enjoy
Is that the Jade Idol ? ...remember trying to fog the paint on an AMT kit like that using the little spray can . Always liked that custom . T

I know some.......... Top row, second from the left is Joe Bailon, and to his right is **** Dean. Bottom row left is Frank DeRosa. I know more, but I'll give someone else a shot. Paso sure did look quiet in these photos compared to how it got up until the end. It must have been great to be there in the "early days"..........E

Jeff, you are right,I meant 1984 was the first year at Sherwood....1982-Lake Nacimento ,1983-Casa de Fruita , 1984-1991-Sherwood Park.
Here's the orange car at 2008 Spokane Goodguys. I thought the story was that Gene Winfield was involved with this car, but had been repainted. Not sure if it sold that weekend or not.
