I have been debating selling my Catalina and I just can't get myself to do it. It is a perect project car that will be resting until I get to it.

As far as other cars, I found and bought these in the spring. I never thought I would have a chance to own one so I jumped at the chance. 61 Ventura 425a car. Was allegedly a race car in Florida before coming up north.

It has a 63 block in it with the correct heads and exhaust manifolds. To make it even more painful, the past owner cut the roof off for a custom project...ugh. Luckily, it came with another Ventura....

    Enjoy.....

WHat color do you think the 62 should be? I keep going back and forth. I want something other than red.

  12. How 'bout '62 Pontiac Yorktown Blue, or '63 Pontiac Nocturne Blue, or '62 Pontiac Silvermist Grey. I once saw a '62 GP in that Silvermist Grey and thot it looked pretty good.

Dr Dave your car looks great. I have a 64 ragtop too and have been looking for ideas. Did you shave the handles yourself?

  21. Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I shaved the handles myself...back about 1986...with too big a welder at a friend of my dad's machine shop....with too much heat. :D Warped the doors real nice like. LOL. One of these days I will actually finish the crazy thing. Next year will be 30 years that I've had it...you'd think I could actually get it done in that time. ;)

  25. I like how that 64 sits! What size wheels and tires are you running?

  28. Excellent! Thanks for the info. I intend on putting Supremes on mine, but wasn't sure what tire size would fit best. That's the same size tire I'm running now, so that's awesome. :)
