Lest we forget those who came before us, so that we could live our lives as we see fit. "In the fields, the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row..."
Observed around the world, to pay tribute to defenders of freedom. Participating in Veterans Day parade here in Reno today. Thank you all, for your all. HHC 1/27 25th Inf. Div. - Tropic Lightning - 36K20 Field Wireman -
Thanks to all the veterans including our allies that served to protect the free world including my dad.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. Thanks to those who served and to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Lest We Forget
