Not a big fan of the old Dodge trucks but that is a nice truck, can't believe the condition for a field truck. Nice buy

i was kinda thinking of keeping the front leaf axle ..put disc brakes on it lower the rear a bit and put some white wall pie crusts on it..a mild g***er look ?

Nice sheetmetal! I noticed a tail light on the p***enger side. I did not think Dodge made a tail light for that side? I had to cut up and fab a driver side to work on the p***enger side on this 47.

If you get to the tires I run p225/75/16 on mine and like the way they soak up the road

also found an 8.8 rear, just could not find a mopar rear that was cheap enough?

  21. Gotta love an old Mopar truck and yours looks a great find!

I think the reason the headlights were moved out was due to the fact that you would hit them with the hood sides almost every time you closed them! I knew this and it still only took 5 minutes to chip my fresh headlight paint!!

Great find on an awesome truck man! I have a 46. I went the IFS route on mine. Got it from Scotts Hot Rods. Install was simple. I also went with a 8 3/4 rear from a Cuda. Length was perfect but I had to move the mounting pads. Mine will probably end up with a small block and a modern 5 speed.

Cant wait to see what you do with it!

gathering some parts, would love to find a mopar rear but they are pricey out here..8.8 3:73 rear $100. cant complain too much i guess, same bolt pattern atleast
