    I love those little ramblers.
if you need somewhere to store it and get it running...feel free to just come on down to Nashville.

"I hope to get back to this one"....that kills me. How many freakin projects does one person need? I just need one (and I don't have that one yet). My winter project will be to look through all the want ads and magazines and look for my spring project (which will be to look through everything for a winter project - it's endless) haha.
Some awesome looking rides out there and some very nice projects that are going to look even better after you all get done. Enjoy them and God Bless.

  9. Just try to keep them running,,put some sort of heater in the sedan and a new windshield,,possibly cover the front and back set with something other than the old Indian blankets.

Nothing special on the truck. HRP

New radiator in the Mercury, and probably get started on the 46 Ford Coupe; see if we can get that running.

In the midst of a rod build. Picked up this REO cab. building my own frame, got all my running gear - Olds rocket and 3 speed trans (kinda cool to see Olds running gear in an REO). It'll be traditional.

Might do some more on my '63

That's where it's at right now.

The '35 Ford (going on the super back burner)

My Olds "Blue Suede 88" in the '50s style. Would like to redo the back tail light panel in chrome

Guess it's a full plate for a 21 year old in college lol. Not impressed to say that it's not all either.....more rust in my yard waiting for time money and energy, the big 3!

Seems like everyone's got something to look forward to this winter! Keep on buildin, HAMBers!

  13. Really hoping to get my project moving under its own power and at least able to pull in and out of the garage by summer

Though my list is pretty long:

    Finish up ifs install
Pull sbc/700r4 from donor and install
    Brake system
    Fuel system
blow apart yet again so i can finish welding and then paint frame
    Start reassembly

Did i mention i haven't done any of ^these before? Only one way to learn!

My winter project is my 31 model A roadster that i've peiced together, started off with a roadster cowl and then found a set of 1/4 panels at a swap meet that still need a lot of work, couldn't find original doors so i had to give brookville a call. body is sitting on a set of new 32 ford rails that i found online for sale, i'm running a 392 hemi with a muncie 4 speed and a 9 inch rearend, hope to have a full rolling chassis with a set of 35 ford wires and the body mounted to the frame by the end of winter, I better get my ass in gear if i want it done![IMG]

I have my 32 5W done as far as it's gonna get for now, it's a driver. Well under way on my 34 3W. It's gonna be a Bonneville style car with about 6 1/2" out of the top - Culver City QC - 8BA & T5 - pushed the 37 tube axle out 4 1/2". Donny Smart is providing a channeled floor, door skins, quarter panels and any other sheetmetal needs.
Wish me luck, I'll need it.

A couple of things with my T-bucket - split the exhaust in its 235 and do something different with the dash both while trying not to freeze!

  18. I made the car too fast now the drum brakes suck! You know they suck when you're going through the traps with both feet on the brake pedal and your ass is off the seat.

So this winter I'm completely redoing the front suspension and adding a set of Wilwood disc brakes.

Other things on my plate are redoing the rear suspension with all new rod ends and new coil-overs. Tighten up and reset everything on the engine, install my Cragar steering wheel and install my new (old) Stewart-Warner gauges. I'm also planning on taking more weight off of the car. Hey, I'll have better brakes so I'll be able to go faster.... right? :D

  25. I now have headlights, running/turn signals, electric wipers, interior lights, cigarette lighter, that I'll probably never use, horn, and tail lights! Gauges are on their way from Jeg's.
Learning how to wire a car, and using a truly universal loom that was with the car when I got it. I'm on track to have this done by my target date of New Years.
Wiring your own car can be a real confidence builder!

I got the garage cleaned the car jacked up and the first round of parts ordered! My plans have changed to focusing more on the cars driveability. New Aerostar springs, Explorer disc brake conversion, upper shock relocation, and possibly a Cavilear R&P conversion. Along with fixing the leaking trans pan gasket and the newly found leaking freeze plug in passenger side of the block (I've never done that so this could be interesting). If all that goes well then I'll knock out the rest of the re-wire and rehab my dash and garnish moulding.

    OK off to the garage!

I want to fix this thing for winter. Cold outside ( Canada is not Texas )
    Johnson K-45 1929.

    I ve been lucky and was given 5 vintage outboards. From 1929, this one, a 1933 A-50, 1940 AT-10 ,a Sportwin to 1947 , and a Zephyr 4 cylinders 1946/48.
Currently working on polishing the Zephyr. The 33 is in perfect shape and I just cleaned it.
Inside ..... 2 bent rods :) But at least it s a nice decoration in the living room.

Sorry, it s not a car ...But it s vintage :p
Can bronze rod be straitened ?

    Winter Projects:

    Finish the '32

Finish my Cafe' Racer & Chopper

Build a Pedal Car for my daughters.

Hopefully, winter will be short enough that I don't get it all done.
