I was going through some pictures, and found one from my first drive several years back. It's funny how things change and progress when you have an everlasting project. :D
    Thought I'd share.

Car looks good. I talked to you about it at the Meltdown in 2011 when it was in primer

Good looking coupe. Nice to see it evolve.

    Thanks guys.
The interior was supposed to be this winter's project, but I hurt some parts trying to get into the 11's - so I'm reworking some of the suspension instead. Who knows... maybe I'll have time for both?

Looking good Nate. You need to stop by and see my shoebox one of these days. The chop is finished and the rebuilt flathead is going to be dropped in in about a month or so.

Looks east coast cool. Nice to see an A grill instead of the typical Deuce one for a change.

    That's a great hot rod!

It was good "then" but all your changes have been improvements.

Thanks everyone. I'm actually thinking about switching to an original '32 shell I have that was filled and peaked in lead long ago, since I need to replace the radiator anyway. I like the "A" shell, but it's time for something different I guess. Well ... different than what it was. I'll probably try to make an insert like on the Circle City coupe, I really like it a lot (both the insert and the coupe).

Thanks. I was saying today that you can tell it is, but it almost doesn't look like the same car as when i first put it together.

I have a dimple die if you want to try it, I'll have to check what size it is. I stamped this with it, messing around.

My favorite build style! Not chopped, but severely channeled, love it!

Like the evolution of it, and the fact that you actually beat on it too! That's the spirit of a true hotrod IMO. Well done Kamp!

What's it run on the Drag Strip E.T. wise?

Boy, lets see... I think my best back with that setup was something like 13.90's, and I broke the throttle pedal on that pass. A couple weeks ago I went 12.19 at 110. I'm making a couple tweaks and see if I can get into the 11's next time.

Run Whatcha Brung Drags at Cordova Dragway Sept. 28. Sounds like there are several of us who are deep 12's looking for 11's, should be a fun day!

Latest.... it's got Halibrand rears and repop fronts now... otherwise about the same. Oddly, I dont have a good picture of them all on the car at the same time.

Hey Kamp! Love your car. It was fun hanging out with you at the Meltdown Drags. I was just curious, ever get a chance to make any more passes after the Meltdown? Times improve at all?
