I check out your build thread and it certainly does look good on your car. I'm just going to be running the mirrors on the door. A rear view mirror inside will only limit my view through the window even further.

Agreed. I'm still torn for the rear view on if I want to run one or not. Don't really have much use for it on a chopped car. Thanks again man. Can't wait to get her on the road next spring. Then to start a chopped channeled 41 plymouth pick up for the little lady.

That inner fender looks good, those louvers should help that big hemi stay nice and cool. Nice job!

Continuing on with the passenger side inner fender...... I fabricated a piece in order to give the right hand side head of the engine a little more space and welded it in place. Got the old sandpaper out and gave it some primer. Doing the other side tomorrow and will do the final installation. Another job done.:D:D:D (last two pics were made by iphone as my camera battery was dead.)

You've become a mighty fine fabricator/welder/grinder there, Eric. You're near the top of the class on us self-taught, amateur builders. Kudos.

    Thank you Scott. PM sent.

Thank you BrerHair. My buddy Bart and I are looking around for a building in the area, so this guy may start doing some professional work in the future!

Thank you Hemiken for the nice words. You must have taken a few days off work to read it all! Glad you've enjoyed it so far. Looks like you're working on a nice project as well!

Didn't have much time today, but managed to sandpaper the back of the inner fender and prime it. More next week when I have a few days off.

Not so much quitting. Maybe work less and get into building cars more. Perhaps it's the
    perfect combination.:D

I will be disappointed if you don't do cars part/full time. Really. I wish I could, so I will vicariously through you. Better do it!

I can't imagine a more fun and rewarding life and have even thought of finding a job in the hotrod field once I retire from the current rat race in a few years. I think I even have the resume...:D

Thanks for the support guys. I think Bart and I will take it one step at a time. First find ourselves a location and then start buying more equipment and tools as we go. Of course we will definitely need a bar as well.:D I think we both have the same passion and perseverence to make this work in the long run. All we need is time and a little money.;) (and a little dreaming doesn't hurt either.)

I have a buddy who lives in the Netherlands and his name is Bart, exceptionally good with metal too, he is a Blacksmith by trade. I will ask him if he knows you and your buddy Bart, where abouts in the Netherlands are you located, i will have to dig around and let you know where my buddy is situated too, he is just about to finish off his Big Block 1970 `Cuda to hit the streets, he said he is a little too late because the cold is coming.....

It would be great to meet some fellow local guys......the scene here is slowly starting to happen but it has a long way to go compared to some other countries. I live in Haarlem, which is about 10 miles west of Amsterdam. He's free to contact me any time.

If all of you guys would not have commented, it would have remained a short build thread.:D:D:D
