That is a NEAT photo. I was still a year from even existing... I can remember some of the late '60's though and the '70's are still fairly well etched into my childhood memory bank.

Let me tell you about the time I was 5 years old and we drove right into the middle of a War riot on the University of Oregon campus! It's still pretty soild in my head. Or the time at 6 my uncle set me on his lap in his brand new '70 440 Six-Pac 'Cuda and I got to take it over 60mph! I remember it vividly. Or the rides in 1970 in my uncles used, gold w/white stripes, 4spd, '68 Shelby GT350! All I saw was telephone poles WHIZZING by at "the rate of four to the seventh power." I was a child but I still remember.

 

Hmm... Caption, "Got milk!". Sorry, couldn't help it. Isn't she just the most! WOW!

 

That load of Buicks were heading to a dealer about 3 or 4 blocks away from the intersection and I think the Kennedy family still has a store or two in town.
