Yes that is a waste. It'd be worth a lot on s**** but the possibilites to do some good shaping with it would be priceless. However heavy stuff like that is hard to sell sometimes since you need a lot of space for it plus some kind of machinery to get it into place. Still a shame though.

  4. Wonder what it will bring for s****? Would be nice to be able to get one for s**** price.

Did you try to buy it before or after it was s****ped ? Our local s**** yard gets really pissed when people try to buy something that is in line before they get it, but they will sell you stuff once they have paid for it, with a little markup, of course. In fact, the owner sets a lot of stuff that he feels is sellable off to the side and will take offers on it......I bought a trailer that way one time.

Thats how I got my milling machine yrs back. A big old machine that nobody could move was headed for s****. Me being the redneck that moves heavy equipment for a construction company bought it for $250.00. Went back that weekend with the companys big ole kenworth W900, low-boy trailer, and a 6000lb skytrack wheel lift and ******ed it. The guy was impressed and I told him " Thats How A Redneck Retrieves A Mill". Still useing it today.

Steel just went up to about $0.12 a pound in Baltimore. Crazy Ray's (pik and pay) went from $300 (last week) to $400 (this week) per vehicle with a ***le. Drive, push, tow it in, whatever.

That one was probably the one I saw on the local Craigslist this week but well out of my price range.

  17. Probably had to make a payment on their "pickup". I hope that guy gets gum decay.

He probably tried to sell it and got pissed off with time wasters offering him s**** value so decided that's what he'd take for it.
Too many people want to save everything but don't want to pay a fair price for it and then ***** and whine about how the sellers are ****heads.
    Pay up or shut up.

Yep, everyone wants to buy it after it's s****ped but no one wants to pony up when it's for sale.

Man it ****s ,but it happens. The guy in his home garage doesn't have space for it and the man with enough space doesn't want to pay what it's worth. I have an old whitney 92 punch I am trying to sell for 100 bucks. It weighs about 3 to 400 lbs. no one wants it . I actually had 2 and gave 1 to a friend.
I have tried to give the other one to several people also. No body wants it. This might have to get s****ped also. It definitely ****s and I don't want to do it ,but have been holding onto it for almost a year now.

The big problem is that 90% of us don't have any way to lift that machine off the trailer, then we don't have enough room in the shop including overhead clearance to put it in the shop and to top it off it is most likely three phase 440V.

Hopefully the s**** dealer is smart enough to realize that if he holds on to it a bit someone will pay more for it than he would get by sending it off on the next truck load.

Shipping from OKC to California would probably cost $3000

Maybe the s**** yard will try and resell it. I have a s**** yard by me and i drive through it 3-4 times a week. BUB keeps the good stuff and sells it. Hopefully that happens in this case. Nice machine!

i notice you didn't state whether in line going in or in line going out.

the tow vehicle, trailer and rigging job all look like that of someone securing their precious new treasure.

    i'm guessing a good save.
