Love traditional rods and customs but have to say this thread is still one of my favorites. Love looking at the new stuff once a month.

I remember that Ford van ad. That sure would be a bitching daily for 2012 .

For those that think we might be stuck in the 70s,...Hardly, not stuck at all, we are celebrating the Great Memories of having lived in the time period of the rockin' 70s!
As my Father thought me, have varied interests. And to never let people think that they have you figured out.
Keep it mixed up. Keep em' guessing.
    Viva La 70s!...:D

  18. I think every rock and roll song from then until now was based on everything I just saw. YES!

I was born in 72 this brings back lots of memories of seeing these cars, and I remember following my dad around while he tried to keep the salt eaten cars we owned running, we had a yard full of junk and car parts and dead cars, memories. I also also remember my older cousins doing burnouts and I seem to remember some of those magazines

Something you may not know - Fritz's voice was that of Skip Hinnant, who played many characters on TV's The Electric Company (most notably the character "Fargo North, Decoder"!). I suppose if you were watching The Electric Company you were too young to see Fritz the Cat, and if you were old enough to be watching Fritz, you'd only be watching The Electric Company if you were stoned...

around 1970 car payment 116.87 and insurance 125 per month. Its funny how you can recall this after 40 years. My pay check was less than 110 a week.. Needless to say I sold the big block 4 speed vette and got a auto/air 350 elco.. I miss the Elco more..
