Vintage shots from days gone by!

Hey Swi66, I love your contribution to this thead, as well as a lot of the the other members pics. I find this pic very interesting, do you have any details on this car or do you remember where it came from? I am almost sure it is a very famous Aussie car from the sixties. I studied the photo & I am almost sure it is the car, I will scan some photos of it later.

I saw Easy Rider, Gone in 60 Seconds, Two Lane Black Top, Cannon Ball, White Line Fever and Vanishing Point at the drive-in to name a few. OH! Can't forget to mention Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry.

Could this be 1928 Pontiac built by Joe Pring and then owned by John Chappelow as seen on page 86 Australia's Hot Rod Heritage book by Graffiti Publications. High headlights and cowl lines and racing mirror suggest it could be. ? ? ? Regards
