who cares if m/c is ot, it looks nice. better that you were able to do it so cheap too. now, if somebody could figure out how to make tires .........
Plus your the only one you can blame when it doesn't fit ! if i took the easy way out & bought every damn piece-------wait my shit would be done? but some times it's all about pride!
That's the way it was before you can build a HOT ROD that has all new parts and nothing old on it. I am presently building a HOT ROD with everything OLD and nothing NEW. JIM.T.
I grew up in the '50s and was addicted to Hot Rods. In those days about the only parts you could actually buy were heads and manifolds and a few camshafts. Everything else you had to fabricate. You learned how to weld and do basic machine work and formed bonds with other people and shared skills to get things done. I do enjoy building stuff but sometimes time is a constraint and it is better to order a needed part to arrive in time to finish a build.
