It's not relabeled sherwin williams....it is sherwin williams. It is decent paint, ok coverage, relatively expensive though. I would suggest PPG omni as a happy medium between price and quality

I use to use it a lot in late 70's early 80's. Loved it then, no problems and great results, good system.
Got out of painting for a living and haven't bought any in a long time.
Your local branch will set you a good price if you use enough.

  6. ive used it with no complaints.i would not say it is better than ppg top of the line stuff, but maybe better than omni

tecbase is the top of the line in SW and it doesn't hold a candle to Omni, omni has much better coverage at a lower cost. A quart of ts282 (tecbase white toner) runs about eighty dollars, while a quart of omni white is only about thirty

The body shop I use is next door to a NAPA. All they use is the Martin Senour. They painted a car for me with it ten years ago and everything is still perfect.

I use the napa paint on all my stuff. I use all the products from epoxy all the way to clear and I have never had a problem. I have been using it for about 5 years now. I have used PPG and it was fine also.

If I could afford it I would use sikkens products. But all in all I am very pleased with the SW paint products

napa here carries Ppg, omni might as well just go to wally world and get a gallon of rustoleum it will last longer.....

Dupont is too high priced and not any better than some of the others out there...

i use valspar decent quality and reasonably priced too...

nothing wrong with sherwood and williams they have a good product line. i used PPG for 25 years switched to dupont the best paint matches i have seen plus duponts clear doesn't yellow over white and does'nt get too hard to buff will never go back to PPG they all cost about the same...too damn much but it is what it is..Dave:rolleyes:
