The Sawmill is a vintage Bellsaw M14. they called then the one man sawmill. Ive sawed on it and Im here to tell you sawmilling is hard work! And the old cars are for sale. However it takes a little more than scrap price to buy them. The 55 chevy wagon would be pricey. It is pretty solid currently has a 283 three speed and 370 rear. I have a 327 and a 454 four speed and 9 inch rear for it. My wife likes it its the one car she wants to fix & drive. OldWolf

 

When I went to my new friends house down the road from me to see that old Chrysler get dropped off I couldn't believe my eyes..I saw like six of these sitting covered in snow..I Don't know him well enough to start taking pictures of his stash but damn It's crazy knowing whats sitting less then a mile from my house....

I'm new to the "car world" but I'm guessing they were old 32 fords or something like that.

The body pictured is a 33-34 Ford, 32 is almost the same but has a seperate firewall just like the passenger cars

I think I posted this earlier in the thread but I still think this car needs saved, note the lower fender factory decal CJ 428

This is just one car laying there along with about 50 other cars most of them muscle cars, the property belongs to Paradice Dragstrip in Calhoun Ga.
I was there a few years back doing a match race with my funny car, The guy I was booked in to race against told me about all the cars back on the property.....so we had some extra time before the spectators got there so we went looking,

I couldn't beleive my eyes, almost every car was a two door hardtop, GTO's Chevelle's, Road Runner, 55-7 Chevys, even a Boss 302 70 Mach 1, then on the way back out of the woods we found a fiberglass Cobra body.... the track owner said he would sell anything back there.
He had a 55 Chevy 2 dr wagon gasser laying in the weeds with lots of parts in a barn for $1500.00

Otto Timms was the track owner, he's since passed away but his family now owns the track and it's still in operation.
This time of the year up to about March is perfect for going there... no snakes, no hords of wasps or hornets

DJCruiser, It's a 1950 Simca Heit (8) Sport. It's also for sale, and have a parts car. This extremely rare car is cloaked in the same body that a few of the earliest road going Ferraris 166's wore.

Here's a picture of a Cobra body we ran across laying with all the muscle cars in the woods at Paradice Dragstrip.

Look to the right and you can see a real clean red 64 Impala SS
This place was littered with classic cars and muscle cars.

I was told the track owner had bought cars and projects over the years from guys that needed money because they lost their jobs or from people that just fell behind financially.

 

Some old cars sitting in ND
