So, new build thread for the seat cushion, or were you able to "recover" the original one?

Glad it was a "no contact" event. )

I have to say, I watched that unfold before my eye's there @ Mooneye's and that was the save of the day. Beautiful execution!!!!!!. The track was bad all day, and my neighbor who runs every Thursday night there say's the cars got in the wall several times last Thurs. night. They could see the water percolating up from under the surface just passed the second Grand Stand's.

LMAO, Rocky I know what went through your mind. Is this thing going to roll? Then as it goes around, seemingly in slo mo, the relief starts to sink in, like whew.....that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Definitely a crowd pleaser though!

When they only give you one run you gotta make it count. Anyone can do it in a STRAIGHT line! That's got to win some kind of "Save of the Year" award.

Kind of reminds me of another particular car I've seen posted here from the midwest region. What's going on? Tom S.

    Rocky:
Just a taught about your run. I was thinking that you may have had spider gear problems. When I was making exhibition runs in Scorpion 1 I locked up a set of spider gears. I determined that it happened due to the car sitting for long periods and oil draining off of half the rear gears and spiders. After that I would jack up the car and run in the rear end and had no more problems. It all wase attracted a crowd and is just part of the show. I have reverse so I could run it in forward and reverse gears.

Whew! I'm guessing the skid marks on the track were outdone by the skid marks in your skivvies right? :D

Is that what you call a Mulligan? whoa.......

  22. Stiff sidewall & narrow slicks on 40 lbs of pressure surely kept the twin on a level playing field, now for your next act in 2013. The 2012 "Rocky Show" will be hard to beat, see you at Riverdale.

Well the New Year brings me to only one resolution...............It's Time to add the Roadster Body to the TWIN! I finally sprung for some 'glass Resin and really looking forward to the final look. If possible I want to make the Roadster body removable so I can Switch the TWIN back and forth but if I succeed my Vision I will LOVE the Comp Roadster Look, Paint it and leave it on. Here are some Photos I've been looking at for inspiration.
