This post is like a game of 'I Spy'.....Congrats on your car!

Your pictures remind me of finding a 'super secret' junkyard 10 years ago & posting it on the HAMB and having 900 HAMB guys trying to figure out where it was at........haha.

Got the old girl drug inside this afternoon. She's in good company sitting under a 36 Buick land speed car and next to our FED.

Got all three carbs rebuilt, and had some fun making a little noise with the open headers. I'll get her up on stands and start on the brakes and wiring this week.

Oooohhhh boy, that motor sounds good. I'll try to shoot some video for you guys too...

Such a cool car and mill. Props to you for respecting and exerszing confidentiality. I had a 51 Buick with 48k miles get stolen and crushed, because it wasn't hidden well enough. Thieves thrive on information they have no business having. Plus, it settles the "what cool tail lights should I put on my hot rod?" debate. ;)

I know a few guys who have built cars while fighting cancer. They say it helped them think about somthing positive and a will to get off the couch and head to the garage.

Stupis electrons... Why do wires have to come with so much smoke inside them?

You know where you can find me on lunch breaks, after work, on the weekends... Just gimme a call whenever you feel like coming down Chip.

  12. Wiring is not too hard. I rewired my truck with no smoke yet. Let me know if you need an extra hand in the way.

Its funny, because I never have a problem with the big voltage stuff we have at the shop, but I can somehow manage to make 6 volt headlights shine like HID's in a new Lexus.

I've never been a big fan of playing with electricity. Probably because my old man is a plumber...

Hey I have to second that! Hanging out in a downpour is seldom as fun, unless your watching someone unstick a high caliber forklift from the mud! I wish I could have hung a bit longer, but there was a pan kohldormer, buttered potatos and a gin and tonic waiting for me along with a crackling fire with my name on it... Let the Christmas season begin!!!
Now, what happened with the one-man-band funnel-fuel-tank attachment that I missed?

It just wouldn't be fun unless we set a few things on fire...

Had a close look at the back half today. The rear suspention is pretty much upside down and backwards...

Yep! I didn't want to say anything the other day though. If I remeber correctly the side bells are flipped and the spring is in front which in itself isn't a big deal, but that "Z" is some cause for concern.

Get it going and then fixing that can be part of the "cleanup" program.
