That was the point. I love the heat of being in the kitchen of the automotive world!

So . . . I got My 32 tudor back on the road earlier this week, (finally got one of my chassis' under it, & new motor & trans, etc... ) So I decide to drive it out to Rick's place this morning, to put some miles on it, & to check progress on the E&B tudor.
Almost made it . . . . but Rick had to come & rescue me. Next time I'll put more gas in it !!!

I've got the pictures, but the key to a 40 year friendship is not to embarrass a friend in a public forum. On the other hand, embarrassing them in a small group is acceptable.:D

Great pictures Craig. That should keep them happy momentarily.:D

    Greg-
Yes. You're right on the hub caps. Pete has the best eye in the business. Understated but looks great.

As you can tell, I am really happy.:)

  21. Rick-
The car is looking great. I am really impressed at how nice the chop turned out. The cut lines are beautiful, and everything mated up perfectly.

Any estimation on when you'll be spraying the body?

Craig, thanks for the photos of Pete's car. I haven't seen it since Deuce Day at the Petersen.

    Boy,
I know how P-Wood feels, I'm always running the petrol low in the deuce, but have no pictorial evidence= ;). Last I saw Pete put caps on a rod was his 30/31 Y-Blk powered roadster that he had in the VT with you Rick, save for the MQQN discs that he had on the 28 w/Piner Both cars are looking great guys, Congrats on the progress, can't wait to see it hit the road around here.
    Merry Christmas to ya guys.

Yes the posts were laid back, 'did that on the orginal body too. I like that look alot better.

I learned a really neat trick from the Kennedy boys for chopping the front posts. Gives a better result & it's accually easier.

First things first. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Just so you know, I'm not PC. You're not going to get a happy holidays from me.

I just got back from Eric's and here are the pictures of the louvered hood along with the original E&B hood side.

I should be spraying the hood and body on the next good day. Not including Christmas day.

And as always, visitors are welcome!

Pete, I like the look of the front post and the profile of the top. It should be a real winner. Your daily driver looks great and I can tell you have done a bunch of work on the car.
