Can any of you id these wheels? They are 15-1/2 and 4-3/4 five lug by five inches wide. Are they mopar, jeep, ford, fomoco, willys or gm buick, chevy , cadillac, pontiac?
I will post the picture of the wheels when I can get to a computer. the wheels have tabs on them as well.
Look like a bent Gm wheel. So I guess they would be the bent type. Sales happen over in the classifieds by the way.
The pin striping tells me they're 49-50 chevy passenger car wheels. I don't think 51-up wheels had pinstriping from the factory but of course you could pinstripe any wheel. Will fit any drum-brake chevy from '49-up. Hubcaps will have to be older than '54 to fit these wheels tho.
thanks for the information. These wheels can be used again, my uncle had these in his garage for at least ten years. They belonged to his dad and he had them for a few years as well in Los Angeles, California.
Are you sure about the bolt pattern circle? The smaller holes between the lugs make me want to think that they are MOPAR which used lug bolts intead of nuts but they would be 4 1/2" bolt circle.
Measure from the center of one hole to the OUTSIDE of an opposing hole. Not center to center, that will give you an incorrect measurement.
looks like a 5" bolt circle, Olds, Pontiac...must be more, like Packard... 16" dia x 4-3/4" or maybe 5" width, from what I can see.
