what a couple of totally different artistic viewpoints

 

If you look at the last shot showing a guys arm out the window of looks like a dodge or plymouth in the intersection,
anyways that reminded me of a story my brother told me,
he and his friend were driving down hollywood blvd in a old 40's dodge,
they were in high school at the time,
my brother had taken my toy thompson machine gun with him,
the kind that took rolled caps, remember rolled caps?
it was 1965 or 1966 i believe,
they're feelin a little rowdy but crazy,
so my brother decides to hang out the window and
shoot people (pretending ok!)with my thompson cap gun,
before too long though he found himself pulled over,
spreadout on the ground with (real) guns pointed at him,
true story, and i never got my thompson cap gun back.
cops kept it.
it all came back to me just lookin at the photo of sunset and vine,
ahh memories
