Todays generation could take a few lessons from "Days Gone By" ..........Instead of stupid baggy clothes, pants around thier ankles and the thug look .........would be nice to see some dignity and class like Louis and family.

The The pickup truck featured a portable TV set and a conventional phonograph in the bed. The record player was played back to the cab via interior speakers, while the portable TV was strictly a luxury item for Sunday picnics and outings.

Didn't know this is what happened to Norm Grabowski's "Kookie Car" T.
The car was bought by Jim Shonzakis who rebuilt it 2 further times until it ended up looking like this.

Another shot of Marty Hollmann's T-Bucket.
Yeah, that's Norm in his T-touring, which later became famous in the TV series “My Mother the Car”.

Any idea where this was taken? I see the address of 1201 Highway 90. Is this Imperial Highway in Fullerton or Brea CA or another Hwy 90?

US 90 runs from West Texas to Jacksonville roughly along what is now I-10.

  30. Some of the customizing model car kits I got as a kid had TVs you could add to the car/truck.
