Yeah, Jim & Cotton were a force to be reckoned with in the late '70s.I ran a L/G VW powered Fiat & knocked heads with them several times always on the losing end.We raced them one night at Brainered dragstrip, ran .36 under our index & Cotton won by a half fender.Jim was a great friend, he helped me a lot even though we were compe***ors. The day of his funeral you could'nt have put on a race within 300 miles of Ringgold, all the racers were there. I'm proud to say Jim Headrick was my friend.
Who is the owner of the two Hudson's in post #175? That is nothing less than Hudson ****. Love the engine's. Hud
Yup, he ran Chevies before switching to the crossflow Ford in the third pic. He still races, along with his son. I see him at Indy Div. III e.t. finals. I think he is racing David Majors in the last photo, also in a Boss-headed Ford 300. Two BAAAD Motorscooters!
that's about all I have for now, gonna do some more research later. Thanks again R W, Sixgun,Mopar Man
