my lawn tractor has pulled many cars all over my driveway
up hills no problem - you need a guy to block the wheels
when need be - you need good brakes on the tractor and enough power
    mine 18 hp

by the looks of it empty your garage pull the car up
block it get the tractor out the other bay

the other way i've moved cars is with a electric winch
i put the steel sleeve in the floor put a solid thick rod
in the floor secure the winch and push the switch

also a come a long many times

you need a couple of guys and good chocks so the car can't jump them
yep it happens once only once

Your wife must have picked out the house, any car guy would have passed on that driveway.
Since she is to blame, hang some of her expensive purses on the back wall, tie a rope to the car and a big loop at the other end. Ask her to meet you at the front of the car in the street, tell her there is a new coach purse hanging on the back garage wall and then throw the loop around her. She will pull the car up the hill.

  6. This is rich. Almost as funny as the HAMB of years ago. You guys crying to get this closed are missing some giggles. The scene where Laurel & Hardy deliver the piano comes to mind. Some of you guy have had me LOLing out loud. ha ha ha

Unless than is an optical illusion, that driveway doesn't look all that steep to me. You can't back a trailer up that?

  9. I was just looking at it again and i dont think its that steep either,if we ever hear from him again maybe he could confirm the gradiant.JW :)

O.K. here it is! Drill a hole in the floor at the front of the garage, put a pipe with a Pulley on it ( pulley should be horizontal close to the floor) Hook a cable on the car, run it thru the pulley back under the car put the other end on that minivan,Slowly back up the minivan and the car will go up with ease !! A lot cheaper than paying for a rollback every time you want to move the car and you can remove the whole setup to work on the car.. Make sure the Bride is in the project car during this operation !! Wow! I have way to much going on in my head ===== Good Luck

wow, you guys are way over thinkin this, first ya gotta remove all the driveway, then level the ground to the road. next, you put in a 4 post lift [ramp style, like an alignment lift], position it in front of where the door is, roll the car on the lift, raise lift, push in garage, easy-peasy....

this has been an entertaining read...

Once you get it up there, don't lower the car otherwise you might have a problem bottoming out / scraping bumpers. Looks like the problem is where the sidewalk meets the driveway, sharp angle there. You might have problems getting any long low car from the sixties in that driveway.

Back the trailer up on an angle through the dirt towards the garage. Hopefully you don't have the yard in yet and just rake it out if you still bottom out and plow.

  14. Come on, 7 pages. You don,t have a problem compared to this driveway.

  16. That house looks like my great aunts house in Red Cave SD. I think he was driving around and took a picture and did not know what to do with it. POST IT ON THE HAMB!

He is a sick person and needs professional help or maybe committed to an institution.

Aunt Thelma Broken Arrow is going to be mad when I send her the picture.

Have you tried rubbing Viagra on it? It may get up the driveway and in the garage all by itself!

Put a chain through a piece of steel pipe, tie chain at each end of pipe ,leave enough chain on each end to tie up to each vehicle, take wire and secure chains to each vehicle as extra precaution. This will give you control to push or pull your vehicle,I have used this method and it works very good.Veeee8

I would take the car apart and carry the pieces up the hill one by one and put the car back together in the garage! That's what I would do )
