Still putting the history together. It has been in a garage in Mass since 1960. I will do this car in a very classic Hot Rod style. The only body mod will be filling the roof with steel vs. the wood and canvass top. I will paint her gloss black with a tasteful pin stripe. I will add a 1957 325 Dodge Hemi. Put a nice stance on her. Modernize the brakes, suspension and wiring so I can drive her as fast as I want. I will leave all the metal on this car, fenders, everything. Such a rare find and a rare opportunity.

  14. I like it myself. HRP

  15. I would get it running and just drive it. Whens the last time you saw a complete 5w 32' with a B motor? Or just a 32' with a B motor?

My .02.... Get her back on the road driving safe, gather the parts for your build and wait before changing anything.

WOW ! is right. Glad it's up to you to decide. Love your ideas but it's so rare I'd be tempted to put a cloth top back in, restore it, and maybe some juice brakes, then drive it.
Even leaving the body and paint alone is a great idea.
Once you change it it's not an original rare car anymore. It'll be just ANOTHER 32 Ford.

Don't touch the paint....and especially DONT fill the roof. It will look like a glass car. Nice find, just my opinion.

  29. Nice, as others have said DONT fill the roof!! - leave the paint and get her driving, drop a Riley head and an overdrive in the T-tube then just drive it.

Shout if you ever want to sell it, im also in CO!

  30. For sure.
